In general, I have had an uncreative year! Most of the cards I liked were made in January, and instead of considering this an adventure in picking my favorite - it has been an adventure in learning what I have to do to improve. What I have learned ---- I use way too many jewel type embellishments, and I don't stamp as much as I would like to. So here are the cards I still liked after I disliked so many! It is all about learning - to me!

I LOVED coloring this image! |
I had 2 months in 2013 that I made no cards. My mojo was taken over by stress, pain, and surgery. I LOVE my pain management device (named "Buuuuzz), and I do not miss the pain it has relieved. I am hoping that my goal of meditation and spirituality in 2014 helps my creativity.
Happy New Year - and may 2014 bring you blessings and joy.
I love your choices... and I love your philosophy of learning. I wish you a pain free year, a productive year and your mojo to flow freely.
ReplyDeleteLoved seeing your fabulous cards, but sorry to hear of your health challenges this past year. Hope 2014 is good to you.
ReplyDeleteI really like the little dog with the butterfly on his nose! also the giraffe is way cute.
ReplyDeleteThe elephant is one of my all time favorites from SU. I also love your dog card! TFS.
ReplyDeleteI love the clean lines of the Thank My Lucky Stars card, and the pure happiness of the Mickey card. Here is to a better 2014 for all of us!
ReplyDeleteHi Ronni! I think your cards are fantastic and I'm quite sure that none of us post our train wrecks, lol! Look at this beautiful variety of cards! Your AnyHero card with the banners was one of my favorites last year. And thanks, Ronni, for always sharing encouragement throughout the year. Glad you are feeling better and I wish you all the best in 2014!

ReplyDeleteI think you are way too hard on yourself. Your cards are very creative. I hope that 2014 brings you less pain and more creativity. :-) April
ReplyDeleteHere is hoping you have good health and are painfree and able to make and share more of your awesome cards with us! Your coloring of the lady with many hats is outstanding- I adore that image! And I also love you MFT lil gal and her paper pieced leotard!! Here is to a fabulous 2014!
ReplyDeleteHi Ronni! I think you're way too hard on yourself. These cards are wonderful and you have a great style. I agree that it really is about learning and stretching ourselves though and sometimes that results in less than stellar work but I'm pretty sure even Michelangelo had work that he wasn't thrilled with either. :) Here's hoping that you stay pain free in 2014 and that it's a creative and happy year for you!
ReplyDeleteI think your cards are great - the one with the 'potty people' is my fave and I remember seeing it on your blog and loving it then, too! Hope you have a healthy 2014!!
ReplyDeleteRonni your cards are adorable. The one with the dog is my favorite. Wishing you good health in 2014! Happy New Year!
ReplyDeleteThese cards will bring a smile to the troops and their families! Your stamped and colored images are great! Love the thank you card with the dots and stripes. Wishing you less pain and lots of mojo in 2014!
ReplyDeleteWonderful cards; cute images, terrific coloring, all the little details on them such as the brads on the circles Thank You card are great.
ReplyDeleteRonni, you posted a terrific collection of cards! I hope 2014 bring lots of creativity to your desk! Let’s keep learning!
ReplyDeleteRoni, love your cards and I hope they inspire me to improve. Do you get all your lettering from a printer or do you handwrite any of them ?
ReplyDeleteI need a new printer or I have to learn calligraphy! My only method of lettering now is to use stick on letters or phrases, but they definitely don't look as polished as your lettering. Thanks for posting!
I enjoyed your selection. You have some great kids cards, cute images.
ReplyDeleteI learned a lot, too, as I looked back through my cards. Yours are great choices for 2013. I love the simplicity of the Hero Arts stamps and red/white/blue. Wishing you a happy new year, Ronni!
