Operation Write Home Sketches 218 and 219

I have managed to keep up with the OWH sketches - I just haven't managed to keep up with posting pictures!  It just seems so difficult sometimes to take the card out of the camera, walk all the way to the computer - edit the pictures, rename the pictures, then post the pictures.  I look at that and chuckle, because my craft desk is right next to my laptop!  The laziness!  I am a paper crafter - not a photographer. Yes I am!

The first 3 - are sketch 218 - and are masculine cards.  The last card is for sketch 219 and was made to cheer up an OWH friend who has been in the hospital.  Even if she sees the card, that is okay - there are surprises inside! (evil hehehehehe!)

Mojo Monday 340

I am almost consistent about creating cards for Mojo Monday's!  Another 2 weeks and I will be consistent!

Mojo Monday 339

This is the card I made for Mojo Monday 339.  I was looking for something else when I came upon this paper.  Between picking out pieces I liked and using the "other" side for layers, there was not much left!

Perhaps I Don't Sleep - Because I Am Up Making Cards!

If you are thinking, "Oh no, another Ambien card?"  Yup, two!  Fortunately, I had taken paper out to work with earlier in the day, but got frustrated making another card so I didn't use it.  Also, luckily Stampin Up paper coordinates so well!  I had found a sketch on Pinterest that looked really fun - so I made two of that sketch with Stampin Up (I think it's called) Simply Sorbet paper.  Here are pictures of the cards.  I didn't like the sentiment on the card with the red circle, so that required some re-work this morning.  Overall, I am really pleased with them.

One of my concerns is that I really like the cards I have been making at night!

Mojo Monday 338 - Mojo338

This is the very 1st time I have participated in Mojo Monday. I have been lurking for a couple of months, and today seemed like a join in kind of day.

Online Card Class - Clean & Simple Card Day 10

I must have tried to get a card with an un-embossed space at least 10 times.  Then I read the instructions - mostly looked at the pictures, and realized I needed 2 shims!  Doh!  Amazingly it worked the 1st time!  So, I have numerous sheets of partially embossed white paper - I will use them.

I am sad that this class is over.  It is my favorite Online Card Class - ever.  I really like the day in the middle.  I feel like I was more inspired to create a card.  The methods covered were AWESOME!    I know I am going to use these methods over and over.  I am going to go to Kelly Paper this week and get 110 lb Neenah Solar White - I loved using that paper for single layer cards - I have 2 reams of 80 lb - on super smooth.

Operation Write Home Sketch 217

I guess I must have more motivation... I made 4 cards for this sketch.  They aren't all exactly the same - but pretty close.  I usually don't make multiples, but I am trying it.  I made the cards with the intent of making them flat and not embellishing.  I realized I have to add something!
