I really like this sketch because it has so many areas that can showcase a paper's design and texture. I made two cards from this sketch.
I really loved the star paper so I made another card using sketch 92 - I was not able to get a very clear picture of this one.
I hope you have enjoyed looking at my cards today.

ReplyDeleteI like all 3 but think #1 is my favr. The colors of the paper remind me of the beach, the star paper & embossing tie it all together.

I usually take the sketch literally (I don't have the vision you "pros" do), so I appreciate being shown different ways to use a sketch. The textures and the design really come together. i like how you used 2 different cs colors to back the sentiment and the stripes in the first card. the blue makes the sentiment pop and the red makes the stripes pop and both balance each other. nicely done. Thanks for supporting OWH.

ReplyDeleteThree nice cards! I really like the background paper on the first card, with it varying colors. But my favorite of your trio is the second card. The contrast with the black, the two brads on each narrow strip, and the trimmed sentiment panel all work together to make a very "balanced" looking card.
