A little pink and wild paper - and I have sketch 9

Mid Week Throwdown

Here is my submission for the Operation Write Home mid-week throwdown.  This week's challenge is to include a Bugaboo digi stamp.  I chose the princess/queen - and colored it with Copics.  the paper is 110 lb watercolor - but it worked!  I used a folded top note die from Stampin Up - and under the flap is a sentiment that has a crown and says "Queen for a Day" - I thought that could work for a mom or a wife.

Busy cranking out those sketch cards

Here are sketches 10 - 12 for Operation Write Home - - - - I don't know what happened to #9 - I guess I will work backwards on the next card!  AND great news - I am done with my yellow - black - and posie phase!  Even though I have some posie paper left!

Sketch #9 - AND last for today

I really wanted to use this pretty paper - putting patterns together is so very difficult for me - but the paper was so pretty - I had to!  The crystals look at bit out of place to me - I may exchange them for black pearls - opinions?

Here are sketch cards for #6 - sketch #8. I am discovering how much easier it is to make cards with a specific goal in mind!

Operation Write Home Sketch #110

I just amused myself (it's easy -really!) when  looked up at my title and realized my fingers had been on the wrong keys!  I believe I was typing in the made up language my granddaughter Niah and I speak sometimes!  I spent time making a card this morning - which although that may not seem GREAT - it is - my mojo staged a walk-out!  Guess it is union!  While that was going on - I organized a little (ribbons) - and colored - I used my Stampin Up markers on heavy watercolor paper - and I liked it!

I am thinking of making Mother's Day cards for Operation Write Home - I raised two boys - so no girly time for me -hehe!  And I broke off all communication with my mother over a year and a 1/2 ago - with a BIG whew!  Now - remembering last mother's day - I am giggling!  I went to meet my youngest son and his family at his church.  I was sitting outside -at a table (they serve Krispy Kreme donuts and beverages) waiting for them - when this man came up and asked if he could sit down.  I acknowledged him with a smile and said sure (I think that is how you should behave at church!) And he introduced himself and said, "Do you come here often?"  Big sigh!  I am not going this mother's day - I don't remember where my darling hubby was - but this year - he will be taking me out to breakfast!
