Stretch Your Dies Class

This is my card for Day 1 - I went a bit over the whimsical on this card.  It is a birthday card for a wonderful friend's husband.

The background of the card has the word "birthday" cut out from cardstock. The "add-on" elements are from Fun Foam.  I shrunk some of the cut-outs with my heat gun, and then colored them with my Copics.  I added a few glitter dots and then smudged one when I put it in the envelope.  Bah!

March ODBD

For the Month of March. Our Daily Bread Designs is challenging Operation Write Home card makers to make cards that are all about the sentiments (no treble!)  This is my submission:

The words are compiled from set of stamps that has numerous words of various sizes.  I placed these on my Fiskars stamp press to get the arrangement even.

This stamp was designed by Sandy Allnock.  We had a Corgi mix for 10 years, and lost her 2 years ago.  Coloring this image had a special place in my heart.
