This is my card for Day 1 - I went a bit over the whimsical on this card. It is a birthday card for a wonderful friend's husband.
The background of the card has the word "birthday" cut out from cardstock. The "add-on" elements are from Fun Foam. I shrunk some of the cut-outs with my heat gun, and then colored them with my Copics. I added a few glitter dots and then smudged one when I put it in the envelope. Bah!

March ODBD
For the Month of March. Our Daily Bread Designs is challenging Operation Write Home card makers to make cards that are all about the sentiments (no treble!) This is my submission:
The words are compiled from set of stamps that has numerous words of various sizes. I placed these on my Fiskars stamp press to get the arrangement even.

Operation Write Home ODBD Challenge for February
Oops! I thought I posted my card!
This stamp was designed by Sandy Allnock. We had a Corgi mix for 10 years, and lost her 2 years ago. Coloring this image had a special place in my heart.

Our Daily Bread Designs January 2015 Challenge
Hi! It has been a busy time, what with lying in bed and not doing much! Not many creative endeavors have taken place recently! Regardless, here is my Any Hero card for the OWH challenge from ODBD.

The Best of 2014
I made many cards in 2014. In choosing my favorites, I noticed that each of my favorites are technique challenges. I love learning, and I will keep trying until I have perfected (or closely) a technique. So without further ado ...........
I ADORE shaker cards! This one went to my pain doctor. |
This one was made for my nephew Adam for his birthday |
The technique on this card is the importance of it - scraps were attached to plain printer paper then die cut and placed inside the same die cuts negative space |
This card was made for a card class I was taking. The word is die cut along with some starts, then a paper colored with Copics is placed behind it. I just love the effect. |
I made this card this summer for a class and I sent it to Cora |
Trying out a new die - a few new dies! Also rainstones! I just love love love those!!!! |
Trying out a bit of vintage grunge. |
I made 20 love cards for OWH and these are 3 of them |
I adore this card!!!!!! I made it for a card class. When I watched the video for the lesson - I thought of the song "It's Raining Men!" I can be a bit weird sometimes. |
Also for a card class. The lesson was using a mask to maintain a white space while stamping. I really like how this turned out |
I made this card for a Mojo Monday blog challenge. The paper is just so wonderful. |
Yup! It's Olaf! My granddaughter loves "Frozen", and she turned 2 in August. |
